This is the first of two weekends for the Kinmundy Log Cabin Village 45th Annual Fall Festival.
The event will run from ten to five Saturday and ten to four on Sunday.
The Log Cabin Village now includes 14 cabins. You’re invited to visit them as you stroll through the village. Over 130 vendors will be on hand with crafts, wooden items, jewelry and retail items. A variety of food vendors will be on hand including those with BBQ, Ham and Beans, and Fair Food.
Rick Hanks who is President of the sponsoring Kinmundy Promotions Inc. says they have cleared out a section in the central part of the village to allow for more vendors this year. He reports they have also brought in the Krutsinger and Case Cabins from Clay County which still need to be put back together.
About 30 volunteers work on the various Kinmundy Promotion projects that also include a Halloween Haunted Trail at the Log Cabin Village, as well as work in the Kinmundy City Park, and the Kinmundy Historical Society.
