A good afternoon for The CORLHS Silver Stallions Cross Country team Tuesday at The Sparta Cross Country Invitational.
The Lady Stallions started the day with 2 medalist as Jr. Sarah Mckowen took 3rd place (20:45) and teammate Soph. Rylee Brammier also medaled in 6th place(21:56), Sr. Abagail Meyer was 21st(24:45) and Fr. Alexis Livesay came in 38th(30:23).
The Silver Stallion boys had their best meet of the year to date finishing 3rd in the Varsity Boys race overall with 98 points! Jr. Elijah Gregory lead the way medaling and finishing 2nd(16:35) in the race, while teammate Soph. Zerek Koch also grabbed a medal finishing 8th place(18:17). Soph. Isaiah Lyons out kicked another runner into the chute to finish a strong 13th(18:59), Soph. Tommy Taylor back from a sickness spell ran his best time of the season (21:11) and came in 30th. And Frosh. Liagel Lyons finished 45th(24:50) to secure the 3rd place finish for The Silver Stallions Varsity Boys!
