SC opened up the IESA softball regional on Saturday at Effingham St Anthony. The Lady Falcons beat North Clay 7-1. Maddie Peddicord went all 7 innings allowing 2 hits and struck out 16. Peddicord also doubled and homered at the plate, Brianna Buchanan doubled home 2 runs, Jamaylyn Logan had 3 singles and 2 RBI, Emmie Ruholl singled home a run and Kennah Hiestand added a hit. SC is 17-5 and will play the host St Anthony for the regional finals tomorrow afternoon.
