Centralia Police have arrested a 44-year-old Wamac man for the theft of metal from outside the Inter-Mountain Electronics building in the Centralia Industrial Park. Police allege Joshua Keebler of North Wall in Wamac took the metal on August 25th. The metal was recovered and Keebler was taken into custody on Sunday and transported to the Marion County Jail pending a final decision on charges.
24-year-old Brendan Warren of South Davis in Centralia was arrested by Centralia Police for felony theft and criminal damage to property. He’s accused of destroying a chain that was used to lock up bicycles at One Hope United and allegedly took a bicycle. A charge of obstructing justice was added after it was learned he had originally told arresting officers he was his brother.
Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a 26-year-old homeless man on two outstanding Clinton County traffic warrants after deputies were called to a domestic disturbance in the 600 block of Illinois Street in Alma. Traeon Davis posted $700 cash bond on the two warrants and was released.
