Central City won the Centralia Fall Ball Classic. They beat Trinity St Mary’s 10-4 and knocked off the Tigers 8-3. In the opening win over Trinity St Mary, Preston Feig doubled and drove in 3 runs with RBI also from Stanton, Jack, Kruz Jackson, Kade Jackson. Feig was the winning pitcher going 1.2 allowing 2 hits nd 4 runs with Stanton working a clean 1.1 innings.
In the win over the Tigers, Will Stanton and Kade Jackson had two hits to lead the Citians. Jackson drove in 4 runs with Archie Goeway adding an RBI Drew Jack scored a run. Goeway was the winning pitcher going innings allowing no hits or runs with 5 strikeouts.
Today in middle school baseball, Odin is at Ramsey, Selmaville is at Sandoval.
