Trinity/St Mary defenders went 1-1 over the weekend at the Centralia fall tournament. In the opener, Trinity/St Mary fell to Rome 8-2. Emrie Quick pitched 2 innings giving up 2 runs while striking out 4. Raylynn Parker came on to pitch the final 3 innings. Quick and Rylie Neuhaus both had hits for the Defenders, while Abby Draper and Leah Kleiboeker both scored.
In the second game, Trinity/St Mary topped Centralia junior high 15-0. Emrie Quick pitched 4 innings giving up 1 hit while striking out 4. Quick had a hit scoring 3 times, Raylynn Parker also scored 3 times, Bailey Pingsterhaus, Joe Siegler, and Rylie Neuhaus scored twice each. The Defenders will be back in action against Sandoval Tuesday at CORHS.
