A 32-year-old Centralia man has been arrested by Centralia Police for alleged aggravated domestic battery and on a 2014 Marion County failure to appear warrant on a prior case for aggravated domestic battery. Shane Wright of South Sycamore was taken to the Marion County Jail. Bond on the warrant is set at $20,000.
A 26-year-old Centralia man has been arrested for allegedly driving under the influence and failure to reduce speed after he was allegedly found inside his vehicle in a ditch along Foxville Road just south of Kell Road in rural Kell. Cody Johnson of Chesapeake Lane was taken to the Marion County Jail where he was later released on bond.
Three others were arrested on outstanding warrants.
43-year-old Scotty Burns of South Maple in Centralia was arrested by Centralia Police on an outstanding felony theft warrant and was taken to the Marion County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bond.
34-year-old Ellen Boyce of Lowery Street in Odin was arrested by Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies on an outstanding felony warrant for aggravated battery to a person over 60. She remained in custody in lieu of $2,000 bond.
58-year-old William Edwards of West Frankfort was arrested by Salem Police on an outstanding Effingham County misdemeanor warrant. He was released after posting $500 cash bond.
