A 42-year-old Sandoval man has been arrested by Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies for violation of bail bond. Curtis Scott of Nebraska Avenue in Sandoval was taken to the Marion County Jail.
28-year-old Jacob Schleuter who told Wamac Police he was homeless was arrested on an outstanding Marion County failure to appear warrant on a felony theft conviction. He was taken to the Marion County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bond.
41-year-old Joshua Turner of North Broadway in Salem was arrested by Illinois State Police on an outstanding Fayette County ordinance violation warrant. He’s being held in lieu of $200 cash bond.
35-year-old Amber Meyer of South Madison in Kinmundy posted $200 bond and was released on an Effingham small claims warrant.
A 31-year-old Carbondale man was arrested by Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies for driving on a suspended license following a single vehicle crash on Route 37 at the Crowley Road intersection near Kell. Virgilio Perez-Morales reportedly ran off the road for an unknown reason and came to rest in a field. He and all the passengers in the vehicle escaped injury. He was released after posting $150 bond.
