Three new felony charges were filed in Marion County Court on Friday.
39-year-old Steven Cody of South Pine in Centralia was charged with burglary. He was arrested by Centralia Police for allegedly entering a dwelling in the 600 block of North Cherry Street in Centralia on August fourth with intent to commit a theft. Cody will make his first appearance in court on Monday when bond will be set.
35-year-old Wesley Kretzer of South Cherry in Centralia was released on $5,000 personal recognizance bond after being charged with felony criminal damage to property. He’s accused of putting a liquid other than gasoline in the gas tank of a vehicle on June 4th. The public defender was appointed to represent him. Kretzer was ordered to have no contact with the victim as a condition of bond.
A 31-year-old Centralia woman had a bond set at $10,000 after being charged with aggravated battery to a victim over 60 and felony domestic battery due to a prior conviction. In both charges, Bianca Meeks of North Beech is accused of striking a woman in the head with her hand. The incident allegedly occurred on August 4th. The public defender was appointed to represent Meeks.
