NovaCare Rehabilitation now has a facility in Centralia. It’s inside the Body Shoppe Facility at 1138 West McCord Street.

The Greater Centralia Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting this week to welcome the new business.

NovaCare says its mission is to provide an exceptional patient care experience that promotes health and recovery in a compassionate environment. The NovaCare team can provide physical therapy, occupational therapy, work health, sports medicine, drug screens, and aquatic therapy at their Mt. Vernon facility.

Centralia native Andre Coleman who graduated from Centralia High School, Kaskaskia College, and Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee will manage the facility. He notes 18 years ago when he joined the gym as a member or walked the hallways of Centralia High School, he never thought he would have the opportunity to work in his hometown for NovaCare Rehabilitation.

Coleman thanked the owners of the Body Shoppe Michael and Tara Fleeman for making the location of NovaCare inside their facility a reality.
