The pairings are out for the American Legion Baseball Great Lakes Regional Tournament held at Gerace Park Stadium on the campus of Northwoods University.
The Aviston Express and Moline will represent Illinois after advancing this past weekend. The state runner up Moline will open up tournament play tomorrow morning at 9:30 against the Wisconsin State Champion Eau Claire.
Then the state champion Aviston Express will take on the runner up from Wisconsin, Manitowoc Post 88 at 12:30.
The 4pm game will see Muncie Post 19 of Indiana taking on Gladwin City Post 171 of Michigan at 4 followed by Yeager/Benson 199 of Ohio playing Midland Post 165 of Michigan at 7:30.
The double elimination tournament will continue until a champion is crowned on Sunday.
The Express are riding a 24 game winning streak and have dominated opponents all season long.
The winner of the Great Lakes Regional will represent the Midwest at the Legion World Series in Shelby, North Carolina August 11-16.
