The Selmaville School District has moved to online registration for all returning students.
New Superintendent David Lund says registration is set for Monday and Tuesday. Students new to the district have to complete registration in person. The hours of registration on Monday is 11 to 7 and on Tuesday from 8 to 3. Selmaville will open the school year with an open house on Monday, August 15th, with a full day of class for students on Tuesday, August 16th. A back to school party is set for the Salem Aquatic Center for 8 to 9:30 pm on Tuesday, August 9th.
The board has hired Angela Meredith of Salem as fulltime special education teacher and Amy Hardegan of Salem as fulltime nurse. Lund says the district is still searching for a music teacher. He’s hoping to fill the position by the start of the school year.
