The Senior American Legion 5th Division Tournament in Harrisburg opened up last night. In the first game, Aviston shutout Alton 6-0. They advance to play in the semifinals today at 4pm against Murphysboro after their 4-2 win over Harrisburg. The opening game today at 1pm will be an elimination game between Alton and Harrisburg. The tournament is taking place at Jay Thompson Field with the winner advancing to the State Tournament held this year in Aviston.
