The 84th Annual Membership Meeting of the Tri-County Electric Cooperative is set for Saturday.
General Manager Luke Johnson is promising an interesting format for members attending. Each member registering before the business meeting begins at 10:00 am will receive a $15 credit on their August electric bill.
The business meeting will include reports of officers and the election of three directors, one from each county served by the cooperative.
In addition to the regular meeting, a “live line” demonstration will be presented at nine Saturday morning. there will also be a children’s activities area including a “Lineman for the Day” photo opportunity, face painting, child ID kits, and a demonstration from the Mt. Vernon Robo Rams Robotics Team. An electric vehicle will also be on site for members to view.
After the meeting, a BBQ lunch will be served along with Tri-County Electric’s famous lemon shakeups.
Members are encouraged to complete and bring the registration form from their June Hi-Lites magazine to make registration easier.
