At the Little League Complex last night in Major’s Softball, Dairy Queen beat Bandy’s 7-6. Ziva Owens was the winning pitcher going 2 innings allowing 5 hits and 4 runs with 4 strikeouts. Gabby Goosetree earned the save. Kenzie Collier had 2 hits and 2 RBI. Alyssa Eagen, Goosetree, Tinsley Larson, Alaigha Hughes and Grey Garden all drove in a run.
In baseball Majors, the Lions won their 3rd game in a row defeating IGA 8-6. Landon White was 2-3 with 3 RBI and Hayden Dash was 2 – 3 with 2 RBI leading the way for the Lions. Scout Puricelli and Walker Sherwin each had 2 Hits. Walker Crank, Caleb Squibb and Colton Smith each had hits as well in the winning effort.
