Mt Vernon Looks For Trip To Sectional Softball Finals Today

In the 3a softball state sectional semifinals, Centralia is the site for Mt Vernon and Highland that will begin at 4:30.

Last night at Centralia, Marion eliminated Triad 6-2.

In 4a last night, Edwardsville nipped Belleville East 1-0 and will take on Bradley Bourbonnais after their 8-0 win over Plainfield South.
