The Greater Salem Chamber of Commerce is holding the Second Annual May Market Friday night and Saturday.
Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Jessiycka Nix-Coleman says there is a new location.
“We’ve moved out to A Fair Barn right here in Salem Illinois. We’ve got Friday night 5pm-9pm is our 80s 90s theme night. We have vendor’s, DJ, glow sticks, food trucks, all sort of great stuff drinking and shopping local. Then Saturday we are back out at 10am-3pm and we will have live bands, shopping with our vendors, food trucks, face painting and more.”
Coleman says admission Friday night is $10 and $5 on Saturday.
If you buy a $10 ticket on Friday you can gain entry free on Saturday. The event will be held rain or shine as many of the 40 vendors and food trucks will be undercover or in their vehicles.
