The SC Lady Cougars won a pair of games at home yesterday and honored their 3 seniors Halle Smith, Lily Malone and Laney Webster. They beat Wayne City 16-0. Laney Webster and Halle Smith tossed the 4-inning, no-hitter. At the plate, Kaitlyn Swift drove in 4 along with Lilly Malone who homered; Taegan Webster had 3 hits and 2 RBI. Also driving in a run was Brooklyn Garrett, Ryleigh Swartzlander and Smith.
SC then beat Altamont 13-2. Taegan Webster was the winning p itcher. At the plate, Laney Webster drove in 3, 2 RBI from Lilly Malone and Jalyn Michel with Taegan Webster, Garrett, Smith, Ellaw Watwood and Kyra Swift also drove in runs.
SC is 19-10 overall and will play tomorrow at the Olney Tournament against Lawrenceville and then either Olney or Oblong.
