The Salem 9u swept their double header with Carlyle winning the opener 6-2 and the nightcap 9-8. In the opener, Salem scored 5 times in the fourth to break a 1-1 tie. EJ Wolfe and Izac Heinzman drove in 2 runs each. Jacob Butts and Zachariah J also added RBI.
Salem then nipped Carlyle in the night cap 9-8 scoring 4 times in the fourth and holding Carlyle in their final at bat. Wolfe and Isaac Knaap had 2 RBI each.
