Clara Elizabeth Chandler, age 87 of Salem, passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at Odin Healthcare Center in Odin.
Clara was born on December 29, 1935, in Alma, Illinois. She married Bob J. Chandler on August 25, 1952, in Kell, Illinois and he preceded her in death on June 15, 2016.
Survivors include her grandchildren, Steven Sill and wife Rebecca of Iuka and Sharona Kleiboeker and husband Waylon of Iuka, and grandchildren, Chandler Sill, Chance Sill, Brenden Kleiboeker, and Ethan Kleiboeker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, Robert Chandler, a daughter, Sharon Weems; as well as her siblings.
Graveside services for Clara Chandler will be held on Monday, May 1, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Paradise Cemetery in Salem with Trent Ice officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to the Diabetes Association and will be received at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem who is assisting the family with arrangements.
