Sandra L. Cain, age 77, of Centralia, passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2023, at St. Mary’s Hospital.Sandra was born on December 22, 1945, in Centralia the daughter of Verna Self and Leatha June (Self) St. Peter. Her second mother was Lola Smith.
She married David L. Cain on December 1, 1975, and he preceded her in death on December 30, 1985. She was with Jerry Correll, Sr. and he also preceded her in death.Sandra is survived by one daughter Tina R. Patten and husband Walter “Duke” of Centralia; two grandchildren Michael Clark and wife Melissa and Joshua Clark and significant other Kelsey Ashby; eight great-grandchildren: Carter, Christian, Travis, Jordan, Kaiser, Mila, Khali, and Maddison; and nephews: Raymond Jackson and wife Linda of Centralia and Billy Jackson and wife Roxanne of Florida.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: David Cain, her significant other: Jerry Correll, SR., granddaughter Kassandra June “K.J.” Clark, and sister: Mary “Tink” Jackson.Mrs. Cain was a member of Wamac Baptist Church, Women of the Moose, VFW Ladies Auxiliary, and was a leader for Girl Scouts for many years. She was a manager at Betty Lee Fashion for roughly 20 years. She was a loving maternal figure and enjoyed spending time with all of her family, especially her grandbabies. She will be dearly missed by those that knew her.Per Sandra Cain’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded and no public services will be held at this time.
