Police Beat for Thursday, April 7th, 2022

A 27-year-old homeless Centralia man has been arrested on an outstanding Marion County failure to appear warrant in a pending burglary and felony theft case. Jacob Schleuter was taken to the Marion County Jail where he remains in lieu of $20,000 bond.

Salem Police arrested 37-year-old Lloyd McMullin of North Everett Street in Odin on an outstanding Marion County failure to appear warrant on a felony domestic battery case. He was taken to the Marion County Jail where he remains in lieu of $5,000 bond.

Salem Police arrested 25-year-old Austin Arnold of West Lake in Salem on an outstanding Marion County traffic warrant after they responded to a loud music complaint at Lake and College Street on Monday. Bond on the warrant is set at $3,000.

Salem Police gave a notice to appear on an ordinance violation to 20-year-old Hunter Elliston of Fielder Drive in Salem for an alleged retail theft at the Fasmart Store at 1706 West Main. Elliston allegedly ran westbound and with the help of video surveillance was arrested in a room at the nearby Days Inn.
