Jason L. Alsept, 58, of Odin, Illinois passed away March 30, 2023 at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia, IL.Born October 8, 1964 in Salem, IL, he was the son of Jimmy and Margaret “LaDana” (Bullard) Alsept. His father preceded him in death.The family invite you to gather with at the graveside services to be held 2:00 pm Thursday, April 6, 2023 at Peaceful Valley Cemetery in Odin with Rev. Denise Burke officiating. Military honors will be accorded at the graveside by the Salem American Legion Post #128 of Salem. There will be no public visitation. Sutherland – Rankin Funeral Home, P.O. He served faithfully in the United States Army during Desert Storm.He united in marriage with, and is survived by his former wives Tina (Hill) Griffith and Stacy N. (Pray) Vaughn.Also surviving are his children, Austin R. Alsept and wife Allison of San Antonio, TX, Garret W. Alsept of Addieville, IL and Tanya L. Alsept of Great Falls, Montana, his grandson Orion Alsept, his mother Margaret “LaDana” Alsept of Odin, brothers Jerome Alsept of Hoffman, Josh Alsept of Odin, IL, Joyce (Robin) Bright of Odin, IL and Jeanie (Scott) Beal of Salem, IL.In addition to his father, Jason was preceded in death by his daughter, Jessica L. Alsept in 2007.
