Shirley A. Bierman, 87, of Centralia, passed away Saturday, April 1, 2023, at Centralia Manor.Shirley was born October 23, 1935, the daughter of Richard Rittenhouse and Edna (Koehler) Rittenhouse. She married Dale E. Bierman, Sr. on June 13, 1954, in Centralia and he preceded her in death on November 10, 1994.A graveside service for Shirley Bierman will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2023, at Hillcrest Memorial Park at 2:00 pm. Bierman, Jr. and wife Stacie of Knob Noster, MO, and Michael Bierman and wife Kelly of Centralia; two daughters: Lee Ann Mileger and husband Don of Lebanon, TN, and Robin Nosbisch and husband Joel of Mt. Juliet, TN; nine grandchildren: Trey Bierman and wife Sandra, Marissa Brunkhorst and husband Dustin, Sydney Templeton and husband Seth, Collin Bierman and wife Lexie, Kaylee Bierman, Jared Mileger and wife Mellissa, Lindsay Timmons and husband Johnie, Britton Nosbisch and wife Loren, and Macey Nosbisch; seven great-grandchildren: Evan Timmons, Logan Timmons, James Brunkshorst, Nora Brunkhorst, Lemmy Mileger, Enzo Mileger, Rhodes Nosbisch, and one baby Templeton on the way; one brother: David Rittenhouse and wife Janet of Shattuc; and several nieces and nephews.Shirley was preceded in death by her husband Dale E. Bierman, Sr., parents Richard and Edna Rittenhouse, one brother: Ralph Rittenhouse, and five sisters: Georgia Underwood, Deloris Schaefer, Patricia Bierman, Marsha Allen, and Marion Lammers.Shirley was a homemaker. She was artistic and enjoyed painting in her free time. She loved Cardinals Baseball. She especially loved spending time with family and friends. She will be dearly missed by those that knew her.
