Illinoisouth Tourism has announced the Moonshine Store as winner of their Burger Bracket Challenge.
After nearly 18,000 votes were cast and tallied yesterday, Moonshine Store emerged the winner over local favorite Chucks Place by a score of 10,242 votes to 7,856.
While disappointed with the loss, Chuck says, “We are still voted number one by a guy who likes burgers.”
Chucks Place thanks Salem for all the support in the contest and of course the customers for their patronage over the years.
