Fire heavily damaged a vacant home at 307 West 14th Street in Wamac early Monday morning.
Centralia Fire Protection District Chief Ross Boshera says the structure was heavily involved in fire upon their arrival. The Centralia City Fire Department was called for mutual aid.
The ownership of the home was not immediately clear.
The State Fire Marshals office has been called to try and determine the cause of the fire.
There were no injuries in fighting the blaze. The fire call was received at 6:15 Monday morning. Firemen were on the scene for about four hours.
