Wamac Police have arrested a 41-year-old Odin man for alleged disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.  Chad Brown of Kingshighway was taken to the Marion County Jail.

Illinois State Police arrested 33-year-old Jolee Graham of North Broadway in Salem for failure to appear in court on a prior possession of drug paraphernalia charge.   She is being held in the Marion County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bond.

Salem Firemen were called to the Arby’s Restaurant on West Main Street Friday morning after employees said they were feeling ill and thought there may be a natural gas leak.   Salem gas crews checked the gas system and found no problems.    The restaurant then proceeded to open for the day.

Salem Firemen responded to a fire alarm at the XPO facility at the intersection of West Main and Selmaville Road on the west side of Salem.  The problem turned out to be a glaze of oil that remained on a new heat exchanger that had been installed on the roof of the office area.   The small amount of smoke was enough to set off the alarm, but there was no fire.
