Centralia Police arrested all three occupants of a car following a traffic stop on Wednesday. The driver, 42-year-old Mindy Callahan of North Walnut in Centralia, was arrested for driving on a suspended license and possession of methamphetamine. Police Chief Greg Dodson says Callahan was allegedly found in possession of two baggies of meth when taken to the police station on the driving on suspended charge. 42-year-old Terrance Laughhunn of West 6th in Centralia was arrested on an outstanding warrant for aggravated fleeing. Bond is set at $10,000. A second passenger, 56-year-old Mark Taylor of Myers Road in Centralia, was given a notice to appear for possession of drug paraphernalia.
32-year-old Jeffrey Gallatin of East 2nd in Centralia was arrested by Wamac Police following a traffic stop for unlawful possession of a weapon, unlawful use of a weapon, and no valid driver’s license. Gallatin allegedly was in possession of a pair of brass knuckles.
33-year-old Timothy Smith of Adams Road in Kell was arrested by Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies for alleged domestic battery.
32-year-old Chad Burgess of Oglesby Street in Salem remained in custody after being arrested by sheriff’s deputies for violation of bail bond and on an outstanding ordinance violation warrant. Bond on the warrant is set at $3,000.
Marion County prisoner transport brought 30-year-old Todd Murray of North Linton Street in Odin back from Cumberland County where he was arrested on a Marion County failure to appear warrant on pending burglary and criminal trespass charges. He remains in custody in lieu of $10,000 bond.
28-year-old Carrissa Johnson of Jones Street in Mt. Vernon was arrested by sheriff’s deputies on an outstanding Effingham County warrant. He was released after posting $250 bond.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Department is investigating burglaries to three storage shed on the 2800 block of Norton Road in rural Odin. Locks were cut off all three sheds.
