Kathleen “Kathy” Gilbert, 76, of Centralia, passed away Friday, March 24, 2023.
She was born December 23, 1946, in Charlevoix, Michigan, the daughter of Robert Balch and Joan Balch. She married Stephen Gilbert and he preceded her in death in 2007.
Kathy is survived by her two children: Cynthia Pitts and husband Owen of Walnut Hill and Robert Gilbert and wife Cristy of Walnut Hill; a sister: Mary VanKammen; two brothers: John Balch and Rick Balch and wife Diane; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and two granddaughters: Brittany Ann and Brianna Marie.
Kathy was a homemaker and cherished the time she spent with her family.
A Graveside Service will be held Thursday, March 30, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Boyd Cemetery in Boyd, Illinois with Pastor Larry Ohms officiating.
