Two sentenced on drug charges in Marion County Court

Two Centralia residents have pleaded guilty to drug charges in Marion County Court.

68-year-old Ronald Leek of North Beech in Centralia was placed on 30 months conditional discharge and ordered to undergo drug and alcohol evaluation with treatment after pleading guilty to unlawful production of 50 to 200 cannabis plants.

Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies say they allegedly found closed to 100 cannabis plants when going to Leek’s home in May of last year to assist with an eviction.

A 46-year-old Centralia woman has pleaded guilty to possession of less than five grams of methamphetamine following a June 2021 arrest. Virginia Tidwell, also
known as Virginia Davis of South Lincoln Street in Centralia was placed on 24 months probation, ordered to undergo drug and alcohol as well as mental health
evaluation and treatment. Three traffic charges were dropped as part of the plea.
