A 47-year-old Kinmundy man has been formally charged in Marion County Court following a Wednesday night altercation involving two Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies at his home.

Jason Hall of State Route 37 was charged with aggravated battery for allegedly kicking the shoulder of one of the deputies and resisting a peace officer for allegedly fighting with a second deputy trying to handcuff him. He also was charged with disorderly conduct for allegedly exposing his genitals during an earlier domestic dispute that resulted in the deputies being called to his home.

Hall had bond set at $7,500. He later was released after posting $750 cash bond. As part of his release on bond, he was ordered to have no contact with the alleged victim, her residence or her employment. The public defender was appointed to represent him.
