2023 03/19 – Nayori Elon Marie Faust

Nayori Elon Marie Faust, baby girl of Dozie L. Faust Jr. and Nariah Johnson was carried to Heaven in the arms of the angels on Sunday, March 12, 2023. She was the joy of her family from the day she was born on December 3, 2022.

Those who will always carry with them the beauty Nayori brought to them include her loving family, her father, Dozie L. Faust Jr.; her mother, Nariah Johnson; her brothers, Dozie A. Faust, and Damir Faust; maternal grandparents, Jassemine Johnson, and Kevin Northington; her maternal grandfathers, Aaron Crump, and Vernon Williams; paternal grandmother, Darlene Roper; great-grandmother, Barbara Johnson; her godparents, Drequan McDade-Boswell, and Dezyrae Williamson; 8 aunts; 5 uncles; many great-aunts; great-uncles; cousins; and extended family members.

Nayori was greeted in heaven by her great-grandfather, Carl Wright, and great-grandmother, Darlene Hale; great-aunt Bernice Thomas and Tanesha Johnson; and big cousin David Sankey Jr.

Nayori was a beautiful baby girl, inside and out, bringing sunshine and happiness to her family. She had a smile that would melt your heart and was the Snapchat queen. Everyone loved her adorable photos, and she was so photogenic! Sweet baby Nayori was an extremely happy baby, never fussed, and very easygoing. Her protective older brothers loved her big time giving her hugs and trying to get her to smile during playtime. She was playful and especially liked to play with and cuddle her Minnie Mouse. Nayori’s bright light will never be forgotten, and her memory will be carried in her family’s hearts forever.

A celebration of life service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, March 19, 2023, at City Hope Church in Centralia with Pastor Seth Baltzell officiating. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Centralia. Friends and relatives are welcome to a visitation time from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Sunday at the church. Memorials may be made to the Family’s Wishes and will be accepted for the family at Irvin Macz Funeral Home in Centralia.
