Centralia Police have arrested a 45-year-old Odin resident on drug charges and on a outstanding federal US Marshal’s warrant. Walter Henson of Laclede Avenue is accused of possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Police had initially stopped Henson for loud exhaust. They then allegedly found a cigarette package in the car that contained two baggies with a total of 1.9 grams of methamphetamine.
A 30-year-old Kinmundy man, Andrew Casner of Omega Road, was arrested by Centralia Police for violation of bail bond.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the theft of golf clubs from in front of a house in the 4600 block of the Route 161 Extension.
The owner reported the mailman had left the clubs at 11:13 Tuesday morning and they were gone when he got home at 4:45 pm.
