Salem Police say both drivers were injured Monday night in a two vehicle crash on West Main at Selmaville Road.
Reports indicate a vehicle driven by 19-year-old Libby Finley of South Locust in Centralia was traveling westbound on Main when she turned south on Selmaville Road. Due to not being familiar with manual transmission, she couldn’t make the turn in time and collided with the front driver side panel of a vehicle driven by 61-year-old Linda Upton of South Puryn Street in Salem. She was traveling northbound on Selmaville Road.
Both drivers were able to get out of their vehicles on their own. They were taken by United Medical Response to Salem Township Hospital. There were no passengers.
The crash occurred at 10:16 Monday night.
