Illinois officials rally for Ukraine

Governor JB Pritzker and other elected officials joined a Chicago rally in support of Ukraine Sunday.

The Governor presented a message of solidarity for the country currently under attack.

“Today we stand in resolve against tyranny. Today we stand for democracy. And today we stand united for peace and freedom for Ukraine. To the heroes of Ukraine, Illinois is with you.”

Governor Pritzker’s great-grandfather left Kyiv, Ukraine for Chicago in 1881.
