Monday is the President’s Day Holiday which means many federal, state, county, and local government offices and schools will be closed.
The closures include Salem and Centralia City Halls, but garbage pickup will take place as usual on Monday in both cities and the trash pickup will remain on the regular schedule all week.
Area courthouses will also be closed.
While the holiday will delay the Salem City Council meeting until six Tuesday night, the Central City Village Board will still meet as scheduled at six Monday night.
