Daniel Lee Thorpe, age 62 of Centralia, passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2023, at SSM Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon.
Daniel was born on July 22, 1960, in Centralia, Illinois the son of Harry and Evelyn (Mitchell) Thorpe.
He is survived by two daughters, Danielle and Natasha; one son, Joshua; one brother, Ronnie Thorpe and a special friend Esther Devor of Centralia; several grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and numerous cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents; an infant son, Nicholas; an infant sister, Barbara Sue; two sisters, Judy Sills and Dorothy Siddell; and a brother, Donald Thorpe.
Daniel worked as a cook at various restaurants. He enjoyed old cars.
