Along with her husband, Franklin Swango, survivors include her son Larry (Eva) White II of Centralia; stepdaughter Vickie (Kent) Evans of Centralia; daughter-in-law Angie White of Gatesville, Texas; grandchildren Bailey (Logan) Wielt of Centralia, Samantha White of Centralia, Christopher White of Gatesville, Texas, Jacob White of Eddy, Texas, Mackenzie White of Gatesville, Texas, Jona (Dustin) Meier of Centralia, and Nathan Evans; 9 great-grandchildren; brother Larry McArthur (Patricia) Spradling of Dunbar, West Virginia; and special friends Les and Donna Kretzer.

Patty worked at Swan Corporation while raising two sons and never missed a day of making sure there was a home-cooked meal on the table for them. After 28 years at Swans, she retired and moved to Nevada to enjoy the sunny skies, warm weather, and her zest for life. However, Patty was not an idle person and she took a position in Las Vegas and worked tirelessly to the top management position at Budget Suites. After retiring again, she enjoyed a quieter life drinking coffee on her balcony while enjoying the beautiful sunrises and sunsets in Laughlin, Nevada. She moved back home to Centralia in 2022 to be close to her family.

A celebration of life service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Friday, January 20, 2023, at the Irvin Macz Funeral Home in Centralia.
