2023 01/13 – Debbie Emma Ford

Debbie Emma Ford, 66, of Centralia passed away surrounded by the love and support of her family Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at her home.

She was born on December 15, 1956, the daughter of Marvin Sr. and Ruby (Ord) Grote in Centralia. She married the love of her life, James Ford on April 28, 1978, in Centralia and he survives in Centralia.

Along with her husband of 44 years, Debbie is survived by her one and only, beloved son Don Ford and wife Adrianne of Centralia; her precious grandchildren Taylor Ford, Mabry Ford, and Alex Ford; and her supportive brother Marvin Grote Jr.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents Marvin Sr. and Ruby Grote.

Debbie had an eye for design and was able to share this gift while working as a decorative product specialist for Sherwin Williams. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Centralia. Debbie and her husband, James had a wonderful marriage and shared many interests, including primitive reenactments. She loved all genres of music and found listening to her favorite songs to be therapeutic and an awesome way to lift her mood. Debbie was in her element when she was loving on her cherished grandchildren who filled her heart with joy.

A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 13, 2023, at the Irvin Macz Funeral Home in Centralia with Reverend James Hennig officiating.   Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in rural Sandoval. Relatives and friends are welcome to a visitation time from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home in Centralia. Memorials may be made in Debbie’s honor to Trinity Lutheran School, Centralia.
