The SC Cougars are looking for their first 20-win season since 2008, took another step towards that milestone with their 51-35 home win over conference rival Windsor/Stew Stras to improve to 15-5 on the season.
The win is also huge with the NTC seeding coming up this weekend for their Conference Tournament.
The Cougars led 23-20 at the half, but held the Hatchets to just 2 points in the 3rd quarter. SC also went 14-of-17 from the foul line to help in the win.
Keenin Willshire led SC with 16 and Aidan Dodson added 15 with Ethan Watwood chipping in 8.
Vonderheide was once again solid for Windsor scoring 20 but no other Windsor player scored more than 6.
