Nancy Louise Brown, 88, of Centralia, went to be with Jesus on Monday, January 2nd, 2023 in the presence of family.
Nancy was born on September 2nd, 1934, in Harlan County, Kentucky, the daughter of George and Laura Beatrice (Crawford) Cloud. She married Arthur M. Brown in 1976 and he preceded her in death.
Nancy is survived by 2 daughters: Vicki Hill and husband Bear of Centralia, Il, and Terri Walton and husband Mike of Centralia, Il; and 2 sons: Tommy Marcketti and wife Lisa of Sandoval, Il and Michael Marcketti of Centralia, Il. Grandchildren: Raquel Hampton, Tabatha Oakey, Megan (Kory) Blumenstein, Troy (Vivian) Felton Jr., Shaina (Craig) Ruhl, Adam Felton, Brittany Marcketti, Sattin Harra, Dana (Clayton) Hillmer, Anthony (Tabitha) Marcketti, Steven Marcketti, Dillion (Maitlyn) Marcketti, Tiffani (Jason) Grawe, and Dakota Marcketti. Great-grandchildren: Hayleigh, Talee, Kaden, Jaycee, Kellen, Connor, Hailey, Kaelyn, Kaylynn, Kaili, Kendon, Andrew, Blane, Brody, Haiden, Emmalyn, Ayden, Kenadee, Perry, Harmonie, Nolan, Carly, Joseph, Lukas, Addison, Elijah, Eva, Avalynn, Levi, Dylanie, Witten, Maya, Rory, Emmett, and Scott. Great-great-grandchildren: Jocelyn, Ashton, and one on the way. Also, nieces and nephews: Brenda (David) Smiddy and family with special great-nephew Chris, Peggy (Joe) Greene and family, Judy (David) Hensley and family, Gary Cloud, Debbie Woodward and family, and several other great nieces and nephews.
Nancy was a follower of the Church of God denomination. She also enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, and spending time with family, especially great-grandchildren. Nancy had a gypsy soul and moved often and liked to look at and shop from magazines.
Nancy was preceded in death by both of her parents, her husband, all of her siblings, and her cousin, Naomi Cloud.
Funeral Services for Nancy Brown will be held on Monday, January 9th, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Johnson officiating. Burial to follow at Union-Brick cemetery in Ashley, Illinois. Visitation will be held Monday, January 9th, 2023 from 11:00 am till the time of the service at the funeral home.
