Larry Reindl Baylis, 80, of Kinmundy, Illinois passed away on December 31, 2022, at Salem Township Hospital.sutherlandfuneralhome.com Larry worked as a farmer, and also was a factory worker for Jiffy Manufacturing in Salem, He loved Oliver tractors, collected them and enjoyed membership and being active in the Southern Illinois Antique Power Club. He married Rosetta Hoard on December 26, 1965, in Kinmundy and she preceded him in death. Surviving are his children, Ed Baylis and wife Karen of Kinmundy, IL, and Gloria Swift and husband Tom of Alma, IL along with his two granddaughters, Elizabeth Swift and Ellie Baylis.
He was born January 16, 1942, in Marion County, Illinois the son of Reindl Washington Baylis and Goldie Elizabeth (Leat) Arnold who preceded him in death. Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at Kinmundy Christian Church with Josh Conley officiating. Visiting hours will be at the church from 11:00 am until the service hour. Memorials may be made to Southern Illinois Antique Power Club and will be accepted by the Sutherland – Rankin Funeral Home, P.O. Box 97, 310 N.
