Delories Parker, age 90 of Alma, passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at her home.
Delories was born on March 12, 1932, in Louisville, Illinois the daughter of Sherman and Grace (Pickel) Lewis. She married Kenneth Parker on September 13, 1951, and he survives in Alma.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth; daughter, Evelyn Parker of Alma; son, Wayne Parker of Patoka; grandchildren, Krystal Whipple and significant other Charlie, T.J. Koch, and Kendra Parker; several great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Rosie Slater and Alberta Martin and husband Dean.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Jarrod Adams; and siblings, Howard Lewis, Fern Lewis, and Carlon Lewis.
Delories was a homemaker where she worked hard side by side with her husband Kenneth on their family farm. She enjoyed cleaning and cleaned homes and offices for many local families and businesses.
Funeral Services for Delories Parker will be held on Monday, January 2, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem with Dr. Andy DeWitt officiating. Burial will follow at the Martin Cemetery in Alma. There will be a visitation on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
