Roy Noller Jr. passed away Saturday, December 17th, 2022, at Taylorville Memorial Hospital surrounded by loving family.
Roy was born August 9, 1927, in Glenridge, Illinois, the only child of Roy W & Frances (Williams) Noller. He was a World War II Vet and worked for the (B&O/Chessie/CSX) railroad for over 40 years, a 65-year member of the Masonic Lodge of Odin, a 60-year member of Eastern Star of Salem, and a Scottish rite of Belleville, along with being an avid hunter and fisherman.
Roy is survived by his lovely wife Ada (Crane) of seventy years and three children, son Randal (Wife Letsea) Noller of Summerfield Florida, Kevin (wife Cheryl) Noller of Raymond Illinois, daughter Valeri (husband Terry) Shutt of Morrisonville Illinois, 7 grandchildren, Holly, Bethany, Roy, Cassandra, Cheri, Travis, and Dusty, and 8 great-grandchildren, and several cousins.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 31, 2022, at the Day Macz Funeral Home in Sandoval with Dayle Badman officiating. Masonic services will be held at 10:45 a.m. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in rural Sandoval where military rites will be accorded by the Centralia VFW Post 2055 and the American Legion Post 446. Friends and relatives are welcome to a visitation time from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home in Sandoval. Memorials may be made in Roy’s honor to the Parkinson’s Association.
