Mr. Michael Pinkston of Ashley, Il. departed this life due to injuries sustained in a traffic accident in Ashley, Il. on Friday, December 9, 2022, at 4:03 P.M. He had attained the age of 30 years, 5 months, and 25 days.
Mr. Pinkston was born on June 14, 1992, in Centralia, IL, the son of Stevie Dennis Pinkston and Serena (Brown) Claypool.
Michael worked at the Irvington Elevator in Irvington, IL. He enjoyed driving and loved his kids and cherished the time he spent with them.
Left to mourn his passing is his fiancée, Taylor Davis of Ashley, IL; two children, Delilah Smith and Stevie Pinkston of Ashley; his mother, Serena (Daniel) Claypool of Elkton, VA; step-mother, Jerri (John) Claar of Centralia, IL; grandmother, Rose Mary (Charles) Mathis of Centralia; 12 siblings, Brittany (John Thomas) Faith of Centralia, Sarah (Josh Hickey) Pinkston of Centralia, Caitlyn and Bayley McKenzie of Richview; Eric Pinkston of Elkton, VA, Jaden Lackey of Centralia, Kianna Pinkston of Mt. Vernon, Brayden, Brock, Jaya, Jerzie, Tucker and Ollie Pinkston all of Centralia; uncle Jason (Brian) Pinkston of Centralia, IL; cousin, Jeremy Brehm of Breese, IL; 6 nephews, 2 nieces, other relation and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, grandmother, Nancy Pinkston, and grandfather, Steve Pinkston.
Cremation will be performed and a Celebration of Life gathering will be held at the Campagna Funeral Home in Ashley, IL on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, from 4 P.M. until 6 P.M. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the children of Michael Pinkston and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
