Two occupants of a side-by-side were injured when it crashed in the 100 block of Main Street in Walnut Hill Friday evening.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Department identifies the driver of the side-by-side as 22-year-old Jonathan Cavaletto of Shaw Road in Walnut Hill. The passenger was 22-year-old Zackary Schilling of Burge Road in Centralia.
Cavaletto was airlifted to a St. Louis Hospital, while Schilling was transported to a St. Louis Hospital by ground ambulance.
Reports are not yet complete on how the crash occurred.
The Sheriff’s Department, Centralia Fire Protection District, and Lifestar Ambulance were all called to the scene at 7:01 Friday evening.
