A Patoka man has been arrested on two counts of predatory criminal sexual assault.
Marion County Sheriff’s Detectives arrested 54-year-old Darrin Jenkins of Wisher Road after two victims came forward with information.
The investigation began Friday morning when a 17-year-old female reported she had been sexually assaulted by Jenkins from the time she was eight years old through last year. That investigation led to a potential second victim. When contacted, the 33-year-old woman told detectives Jenkins had sexually assaulted her when she was a six to ten-year-old child. The incidents all occurred at Jenkins’ home. Detectives say Jenkins knew the victims.
Jenkins remains in the Marion County Jail pending a final decision on formal charges.
Sheriff’s deputies say the investigation is ongoing.
