A man who drove his pickup truck off the boat docks at the end of Country Club Road into Raccoon Lake was able to walk out of the water unhurt.
Centralia City Firemen say Reese Taylor of Northern Illinois was not familiar with the road. By the time he realized he was driving into the water, his pickup was almost totally underwater 30 yards from shore. The truck was left in the water until Friday.
The incident occurred at 5:50 Thursday night.
