Both Salem and Centralia City Halls will be closed on Thursday and Friday for the Thanksgiving Holiday.
There will also be a delay in trash pickup. Salem officials say there will be no garbage pickup on Thursday, with Thursday pickup on Friday. Landscape waste will be picked up on Wednesday instead of Thursday. The leaf vac will try and complete a trip throughout Salem by the end of the day Wednesday and will not be in operation on Thursday or Friday.
In Centralia, Thursday garbage pickup will be delayed until Friday and Friday pickup until Saturday.
Area courthouses and most federal and state government offices will be closed on Thursday and Friday.
There will be no home delivery on Thursday, but it will return on Friday and Saturday.
