Police Beat for Thursday, November 18th, 2021

A 44-year-old DuBois man has been arrested by Centralia Police for alleged possession of meth and on a new Jefferson County warrant for alleged possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance. Police say they took James Denton of Radom Road into custody following a traffic stop in the 400 block of South
Poplar. A baggie of what field tested as meth was reportedly found in the vehicle.

40-year-old Joshua Reid of Green Street in Centralia was arrested by sheriff’s deputies for violation of an order of protection.

54-year-old Michael Reynolds of Community Beach in Centralia was arrested by Central City Police for domestic battery.

29-year-old Kyle Gajewski of West 7th was taken into custody at the courthouse for contempt of court. He received a one day county jail sentence for being disrespectful in the courtroom.

51-year-old Howard Howell of Coulterville was arrested by Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies on an outstanding Clinton County warrant and was later transferred to the Clinton County Jail at Carlyle.
